Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups semiya
3 cups of water
3/4 cup sugar
2 elaichi
Pinch of color
3 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp cashwes, alomonds
2-3 dates chopped.
How i make it:
- Add 3 tbsp of ghee in a non stick pan and heat. Then add cashews, alomonds and dates and fry until golden brown (don’t burn).
- Add semiya into the ghee mixture and fry until raw smell goes away and keep stirring for 2-3 mins untill golden color found here and there.
- Add sugar to the sautéd semiya and continue stirring for 2 mins
- Now add the water to the semiya sugar mix, add pinch if orange or yellow coloring.
- Cover the pan and cook for 5 mins until the semiya is smooth stirring in between.
Low the flame and add crushed elaichi to the hot and steaming semiya.
Serve it into a bowl and Enjoy!
