Tindora Fry (Dondakaya vepudu)

Ingredients:

1 lb Tindora (dondakaya)
2 tbsps oil
2 red chillies halved
1/2 tsp of mustard, cumin seeds
1 clove garlic
5-6 curry leaves.
1 tsp chillipowder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt (acc to taste buds)

Preparation:

Wash and pat dry the tindora and chop them into small pieces.








In a pan add the oil, and seasoning ingredients. Let them crackle and cook for a minute.







Add the chopped Tindora or Dondakaya into the seasoning.
Add salt and cook for 5 min on med high with cover on the pan.
Then add chilli powder, turmeric and keep cooking for 15-20 minutes stirring in the middle on the medium heat.





Last 5 minutes fry it untill it is totally brown on medium high heat.
Garnish according to your desire with cilantro and lemon.
